One last upset
Democrat Ciro Rodriguez pulled a major upset yesterday; defeating seven term incumbent Republican Henry Bonilla 54-45 in a runoff for the 23rd District in Texas. For the record, that means 31 pickups for the Democrats.

THIS IS GREAT!! I hadn't seen the news. I was the press secretary for the Democratic challenger going up against the then-one term Congressman Bonilla. Of course, this was 1994, so you can imagine how that went over. But, I have to say, the delayed gratification is working for me.
