Estate Tax Repeal Fails

In a rare moment of fiscal responsibilty, the Senate has defeated a Republican proposal to permanently repeal the estate tax. The GOP leadership has promised, however, to try again.

Among the dumber bits of debate was this jewel by whiner Bill Frist:

"Wiping this vicious tax from the books is a matter of principle,"

Only a rich asshole like Frist would have the balls to call this tax vicious. The estate tax only applies rich dead people. Who better to tax than that?
